With physical safety scrutineering being reintroduced this season, it is of paramount importance that you check all relevant aspects of your race car and race wear, specifically in relation to fire extinguisher systems and belts / harnesses, to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
Whilst it shouldn’t need to be said, please also carefully check the basics such as pull cables, tow hooks, rain lights, safety stickers etc.
The period of scrutineering self-certification has now ended, so all safety related aspects of your car and race wear WILL be physically inspected before you will be permitted to race.
Please don’t leave these things to luck or chance – if you read, understand and adhere to the regulations, nobody need get caught out!
