Nick Lunn has entered the CMMCS Tin Tops for 2021

No.10 in our series of drivers with the CMMCS in 2021.
Steadfast and quick TinTops competitor Nick Lunn has entered the CMMCS Tin Tops for 2021. He will probably be campaigning his cracking # 46 white and “metallic cherry red” Honda Integra DC2 Type R (1798cc, year 1999) sponsored by Lunn Racing/A11 Self Storage. Our excellent Tin Tops campaigner Nick got 6 podiums in 2019 and came second in the year’s results for 2019, 2nd in the T2 class behind Bradley Lane. Well done Nick.

Nicholas Lunn is a man of many parts. If you though he spent all his spare time from his engineering job with Pfizer, then think again. The photos below show a talented motorcycle racer, continental tourer, piano player and man about town and country. He prepares a beautiful race car and won the Cannons Production Saloon (Tin Tops) best prepared car at Brands on 27 April 2019.

“As you can imagine working for Pfizer this past year has been rather busy , but I still managed to get out and take part in most of our races. My highlight of the year 2020 was the Birkett 6-hour relay race at Silverstone at the end of October. I was the team captain, organiser and a driver in a team made up of CMMCS members. We had a team of 5; me , Ken , Gideon , Dave , and the new boy Warren. It was a great day fully enjoyed by everyone and a first for all of us; fantastically me managed to finish 7th in class. As for this coming year I will out in the Integra again but probably in class TP. I am currently working on a new car at the moment when I have time, but not sure when it will be ready for its first outing this will defiantly be a class T2 vehicle. My ambitions for the forthcoming season are to continue to improve my lap times and to get into to low 57s at Brands, win a Driver of the Day Trophy and may be even a class trophy and obviously to continue to enjoy some close battles with all you guys out there. p.s hopefully keep the car in one piece! “
